ABOUT THE SHOW
Following their successful 2023 production of Company, Artform presents The Hunchback of Notre Dame, a new musical based on Disney's animated classic and Victor Hugo’s legendary work. With music by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Sister Act) and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin) this immense musical and its glorious score is the very definition of ‘epic’.
Based in the cathedral of Notre Dame we follow Quasimodo, Esmeralda and Frollo along with a cast of players accompanied by an on stage choir as they explore ‘What makes a monster and what makes a man?’
Telling a tale as relevant today as it was when it was first published and overflowing with music from the original film along with new songs, you must not miss this Disney theatrical masterpiece!
