ABOUT THE SHOW

High School Musical is a musical adaptation of the popular Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical. The story revolves around Troy Bolton, a popular high school basketball player, and Gabriella Montez, a shy and intelligent transfer student. Despite their different social circles, they discover a shared passion for singing and decide to audition for the school musical.

The plot follows their journey as they face obstacles from peers who want to maintain the status quo. The school's drama queen, Sharpay Evans, and her twin brother, Ryan, also play a significant role in trying to thwart Troy and Gabriella's involvement in the musical. As the couple navigates challenges and overcomes stereotypes, they inspire their friends to embrace their true passions.
